Otaku Senshi - Sailor Niji

This is one of my 5 Otaku Senshis.

Sailor Niji is a Japanese-inspired senshi. I love the Japanese culture and I really hope to get to know more about it.

Anyway, as you can see, her hair clip is often seen in Japanese plays. I have yet to find out where it is officially used. Feel free to tell me, if you do know.

Also, instead of the usual senshi gloves, her gloves are patterned after the sleeves of a basic kimono. I retained the senshi skirt because one ain't a sailor senshi without the micro mini school skirt.

The top part of her ribbon is actually inspired by the Voltes V's emblem... well, a bit. The see-through sleeves are inspired by samurai armor (note that bigger than the ussual senshi sleeves) .

The big ribbon at the back was also patterned after the kimono ribbons. her shoes are inspired by geisha shoes.

I'm not too sure about the weapon, I might change it since senshis don't normally do melee battle.
